Veterans Day 2018

Today specifically and everyday we honor the fine men and women who have served, and are serving this great country at home and abroad.  Our freedom comes from their commitment to keeping this country free and as you know, it is the home of the brave.

***** We have placed a missing persons report for our fake POTUS who seems to be wondering around aimlessly babbling about shin problems.

This post is also dedicated to Alfred, Mario, Frank, Jim, and Aaron, all members of the AAN Family that have bravely served in the United States Armed Forces protecting our G-R-E-A-T Democracy.

Nothing else to add right now but a HUGE “THANK YOU” for preserving our freedom!

#CALEXIT Retooled Alternative Proposal for California Secession

“CALEXT” was originally a proposal for the State of California to secede from the USA, but because it relied on an amendment to the US Constitution to allow the secession.  The Constitution does not have a procedure to let a state secede, but there have been two attempts that have gone to the Supreme Court and turned down.  Why they were turned down we have no idea.  How do they make a decision when the Constitution does not have anything in writing about secession?  Now we are not any kind of legal eagle nor do we know much about how the laws work, but we are going to give an opinion and throw out some ideas as to how we (California) can get this done by staying within the Constitution of the USA and State of California Constitution.  We just are going to bend both a little bit.  Because California is so far ahead of the rest of the country and we (California) the people want a like minded person to decide our future not some goofy POTUS voted in by a minority or a Russian assisted election.  We want to keep our air clean, our state parks secure, all our people allowed to vote, no racism, health care for all the population without exception, and have nothing to do with the Federal Government poking their nose (Or orange hair) in our business.  So here is our proposal;

We start by modifying the state border by shrinking down the size of the state to a six foot rectangle stretching from the Pacific Ocean east to where the borders of California and Nevada meet in the Northeast..  This will be the new six foot wide area will remain the State of California which complies with the US Constitution and California Constitution.  The rest of the state area will become the Country of “New California”. (We can change it later if needed) The current Governor will become the President and the LT Governor will become the Vice President.  The Congress and Senate will remain as is and continue to function as is along with all the original departments.  When this new country takes effect all ties with the United State of America will cease immediately.

No longer will our residents need to comply for the nonsense that governs the USA and the only income tax will be a flat income tax of 20% and a Country Sales Tax of 10%. Each individual county / city tax will be terminated.  How will our countries tax money be spent?  Comprehensive health-care for citizens of New California including pharmacy needs,  updating our infrastructure, enforcing a gun free environment, salaries for all government employees, maintaining our parks and recreation areas, clearing our air, all schools will be free including college, our court system, promotion of solar or alternative power sources to the population, roads, airports, and anything else that the federal government once paid for.  (Additional funds to be determined later as needed)  The current taxes on gasoline will be terminated except for Sales Tax and any other items once taxed by the USA will be terminated.  We will need to create our own border patrol and border surveillance will be included.  All non-residents will be required to leave our territory within 30 days or will be deported out of our country immediately after the 30 day limit ends.  By deported, we mean you will be taken to the border and dropped off on the other side at the nearest rest area or parking lot.  Of course we will work with all the companies within our country that have employees from other countries and get visa’s issued.

Because this proposal will probably not make the USA very happy because their economy will probably have a financial collapse by loosing the funds the State of California once paid we need to protect ourselves from invasion.  To start with we will put out proposals to countries that have a strong military and are democracies, like Britain / Canada, France, Israel, and whom ever else.  We need the one we choose to protect us from invasion and we will make an agreement with them perhaps to include economic perks, we will give them access to all what used to be US military bases within our area, access to the military equipment we confiscated from the USA and or possibly selling some of the aircraft / ships / and other special secret stuff.  We would think that a country like Israel might like to purchase a state of the art air craft carrier and a few other navel vessels. This should generate a few billion dollars in sales. The protection contract will be a limited agreement to give us time to build our won military to protect ourselves, along with some remaining military from who we decide to contract with.  They of course would get first choice of any military equipment we confiscate from the USA.

All access highways crossing into and out of our borders will have tolls.  Commercial vehicles will pay $200.00 / per axle (In use or not), non-resident vehicles $40.00 per axle and we will not allow any plants or vegetation coming in via cars.  All non-residents must have passports to enter our country. Any products coming in via commercial vehicles must have the proper permits as issued by our EPA Department.  Access to all our recreational areas will be free for all residents.  We will build a wall around the six foot rectangle that will now be the State of California and access will become the USA’s responsibility.  All flights from outside our country will go to the international terminals so passengers can be checked for entry passports.  If a passenger does not have a passport then they will be held until we can put them on any flight leaving our airspace no matter where it’s going.  (If they came from Chicago they might end up in India or who knows where.  Not our problem)

This proposal of course is just our opinion of what is needed and the higher minds of the folks who do this sort of thing will determine the end results that will be the final proposal that goes to the population for voting yes of no.  We enjoyed creating some new ideas to put fourth to the #CALEXIT folks.

We have nothing else to create at this time except to say we need to get away from the negative energy being created in DC and destroying the what one was once a great country of The United States of America.  California is an awesome place to live and we will make the New California a world leader leaving all the crap behind and focus on becoming “one” with all the other countries that care about the people and our planet.

2018 Olympics in PyeongChang South Korea – Day 1

So the opening ceremonies were a HUGE disappointment when the NBC Commentators said that because of time constraint there were NOT showing the entire ceremony, but if you want to see the entire event go to NBC.sports.com.  We don’t ever remember any opening ceremony not being shown fully.  NBC is doing a crap job in their coverage which they promote 24/7 coverage.  If its 24/7 then why not show the whole thing?  Does NBC think that the viewers want to see 100 hours of Curling? Or probably because the lousy commentators kept lauding the fact the South and North Korea were marching out as one country.  It did not sound to us like they were happy about that, but they are doing such a lame job or they wanted us to think they were the center of the universe in their coverage.  If it was us we would have said “The fact that South and North Korea were marching as one country is awesome and hopefully the beginning of peace in the world.  The person that put this deal together should be proud and get some kind of award like the Nobel Peace Prize.”  Then the presentation of four entertainers singing “Imagine by John Lennon” By John Lennon wit the Peace Doves combining in to one was awesome.

Overall the Korean people did a great presentation as far as what we saw, but NBC made it feel cheap.  We have already complained about the commentators making the Olympic a political event on Twitter (Yes we are on Twitter and Facebook).

So today we set our alarm for the Ski Jumping, which was good.  The commentators were excellent on this event.  The back to sleep and woke up to the Men’s Luge and the commentators on this were good too.  The hour of Men’s Downhill was boring but the Women’s Speed Skating is interesting and we will continue watching.

So the trick is to watch the events, they seem to have good commentators but where NBC is “killing” time commentators are the worst ever.  There must be a cable channel other than NBC that is broadcasting the Olympics and even if it was in a foreign language we will watch it.

We are only through half of the first day and will continue watching on the dreaded NBC holding our finger over the mute button.  So Nothing more right now.  To all out there in Olympic Cyberland have an awesome day watching athletes follow their dreams.

Time for a Great Leap for Mankind – USA

The following is from a post on Facebook by a friend Steve Greenberg and I agree 1,000% with what he said:

Food For Thought #5 – I was not yet 5 years old when Martin Luther was killed, I was not yet 6 when we landed on the moon. I grew up in a world in which science and technology is cool and everyone expects to work hard to move us ALL forward. As a society it is our common goal to break down the barriers and create true equality. I grew up in a small, diverse town in which we all were aware of the older generation’s prejudices, but we didn’t share them. I remember the cold war in which we lived in the constant fear of mutual destruction. I remember unsafe cars and foods, rampant pollution, high murder rates, Vietnam and Watergate, oil embargo and crashed economy. We have made a lot of progress, but there is a long way to go. Let’s live up to Martin Luther King’ vision and get to the Promised Land- it is now within reach. Let’s follow the example of that “Great Leap for Mankind” and make Great Leaps of our own forward to where all know we should and can be. It’s right over that next hill….

We have nothing to add except to all Peace and let’s take the leap!

A Sad Day for the United States of America

SAD_USA

The New Your City Protest and other protests where the shooting took place say it all.  We need some sort of change in this GREAT Country.  President Obama spoke about it today and seems to understand what the people of the USA but Congress and the US Senate are silent.  They are to busy playing politics to stop and listen to the American people they work for who are screaming for change.

We have nothing to add except that the families of the victims are in our prayers.

American Lake Veterans Golf Course

This amazing golf course came to our attention while watching the Golf Channel over Thanksgiving weekend.  This is a golf course specifically for use by veterans of our military (USA).  What is even more amazing is the funds to cover running this course all come from private donations, no federal funding.  There are approximately one hundred and fifty grounds keepers and they are all volunteers and they are all veterans.

Back in 2001 this course was described as a “cow pasture” and the Pepper Roberts came along.  The day after Pepper retired he made American Lake his project.  To clean up the nine hole course and make it available to veterans and only veterans.  Needless to say he was totally successful and because of the success, they are going to add nine holes to the already existing nine holes to complete the eighteen holes.  Now in order for this to happen, they needed to re-design all the holes.  So they called Jack Nickolas who is a legendary golfer and high on the list as a golf course designer.  They asked Jack how much it would cost?  In the interview I saw the guy who was asking said, “Jack did not even pause. Jack said “no charge.”   Now folks I have to tell you that Jack Nichols a “class act.”  I blog about Tiger often on this site, but Jack is a leader in inspiration and Tiger is following his footsteps.

Please follow this link (Click here) and be sure to watch the videos.  The folks who run the course and the veterans who use the course are all inspirations.  Remember, these are the guys who go out into the world and protect our freedom.  They put their lives on the line each and everyday just so we can enjoy the freedom of living in the USA.

I have nothing else to add except to inform you that this golf course is the only one in the US dedicated to our veterans.  I find that amazing and a fact that needs to change.

Peace!
