The Voice Fall Season 2015

voiceIt’s official Blake and Gwen are dating even though a few weeks ago when rumors were flying they said they were just friends.  That goes to prove you can’t trust what two single people seen sneaking around say.  Will this tip the scales when it comes to judging?  They are now on the same team so to speak.  It will be interesting to see if Adam or Pharrell will even mention it.

At least the talent is awesome this year and it’s really getting intense as the “live” shows get near.

We also have been following X-Factor except it’s tough to follow their scheduling on Sunday and Monday at the start to Saturday and Sunday now from what we understand.  Simon Cowell is a judge there and will be coming to the US to be a judge on the next season of America’s Got Talent.  Kind of a long commute from London to New York,  but he probably has his own private jet to cruise around in.

We have nothing else to report except to give a shout out to the Northern Michigan folks.  Because I spent so much time in the Upper Peninsula I been following a sight that posts various sightseeing photos of places like Copper Harbor, the end of US 41, the copper mines, etc.  and now I want to go back and visit.  Maybe next summer.

To all the veterans out there in cyberland we say THANK YOU!

The Voice – 2015 Fall Season – Battle Rounds 1 & 2

VioceWOW !  WOW ! Folks !  The first two nights of “battle rounds” have been GREAT !  YIKES !  The talent this year is beyond outstanding !  Have you seen your favorite yet ? Once again a concert every night!

The rumor mill was implying that Blake and Gwen were having a romance, but when Blake was asked he said they were just friends.

Onward and upward,  so lets enjoy this season and all the great talent, including Team Gwen, Team Blake, Team Adam, and Team Pharrell.  Next week the battles will continue and we have a list of singers we want to see.

The mentor / judge competition of words is really entertaining and the “steals” have begun. Making a choice by the team leader looks to be a really tough job.  We would just flip a coin.

We have never mentioned this before, but we think Carson Daly is one of the all time best hosts of any reality show.  It is really cool when he cheers with the families of each contestant when they were performing.

We have nothing to add right now except we strongly suggest that you take a few minutes and watch this video >>>>CLICK HERE<<<

The Voice Season 7 – The Battle Rounds Preview

VioceOkay folks the “Blind Auditions” are over with and now we let the “Battle Rounds” begin …next week.  Dang, we have to wait until next week and tonight is just a review of the blind auditions.  Oh well, it will give us a chance to stock up on munchies and make our list and check it twice.

We will be here cheering for some of our favorites, which is a tough choice this year because of the great talent.  It will be interesting for sure as it always is and we are looking forward to see how good Gwen and Pharell are at mentoring.  Usher was outstanding so that is who we will compare to.

Also our congratulations go out to “thehonkinggoose” for getting the answer to the “A cowboy rides in to town on Friday…etc”.  The answer being “Friday is his horse”.  WTG!  Click on the comments below to see the response.

We though for sure the “Brandon Gang” would have got this one 🙂

Some of the highlights from last night got our interest in tonight’s battle rounds, but hey, we were there anyway.  Hope your favorites make it through and we will be looking forward to the weeks ahead.

We have nothing else to report at this time except to remind all of those out there who have not registered to vote to get to it.  We have some elections coming next month.  The cheetah vote needs to get done.

The Voice Season 7 – Blind Auditions

VioceOnce again we had two night’s of a The Voice Concert and the interactions between Adam, Gwen, Pharrell, and Blake are proving to be entertaining in itself.   We were laughing at the bantering and  the crafty way the teams are being built.  Looks like the teams are filling up and the battle rounds will be starting soon.  (I wonder how we add Pharrell to our dictionary so we won’t keep getting the dreaded spell checker underline?).

It’s been a great two nights and we have nothing else to report yet except to leave you with this question, “A cowboy rides in to town on Friday, stays three nights, and leaves on Friday.  How is this possible ?”  (Leave the answer as a comment and we will report next week who posted the correct answer).

The Voice Season 7 – Audition Night #1

VioceWell folks it looks like The Voice is going to be better this season than it was last season.  Amazing how The Voice has improved this year with the two new judges Pharrell and Gwen.  Last night was another “Monday Night Concert with The Voice!”.

The opening with all the judges performing was down right awesome.  Then the contestants this year look like they are going to out do all the priors years.

What is cool about the two new judges is their approach to recruiting the contestants to join their team is fresh and very entertaining.

We needs to start taking names because the contestants are so good it’s tough remembering who is who.  Like the 1st guys to start the new season.  We think he was the best of the night and since we don’t “google” his name evades us.  (Sigh).  Moving on to tonight’s “The Voice” Concert should be as entertaining as last night.

We hope all of you out there in cyberland enjoyed last nights show as much as we did and discussed it in the car pool lane this morning.

We have nothing ales to report at this time except to wonder if any of you have tried the “Blue Apron” for your meals.  We have been ordering for about three weeks and every meal has been outstanding.  We found it to be cheaper than going out and about even with going to the store and getting the makings.  Give it a try, you might just like it.

The Voice 2014 Final results and some others

Vioce

Josh_downloadWell folks The Voice winner for 2014 is Josh Kaufman and we have been partying ever since the final show, so that is why the late post.  Josh is a fellow Hoosier and when Josh first auditioned he became our favorite contestant instantly.

Yes way back then and Josh initially chose Adam as his mentor, but during the battle rounds Adam dumped Josh!  Yes Adam DUMPED our favorite contestant!  Well folks, this really ticked us off, so we decided to put a curse on Adam.  We called the AAN team and did a group curse on Adam.  The curse was that during this current season Adam’s hair on his head would change to either white or blonde.  On the other side when ADAM DUMPED Josh, Usher “stole” Josh and then Josh joined Usher’s team, and as we all know went on to win it all.  We think this is the 1st time on The Voice that a contestant that was “saved” won.  We need to research this, but since research is out of our realm and not included in our mission, we leave it to all of you out there in cyberland.  JOSH >>>>>>WTG !!!  (WTG=Way To Go for those who DK (DK=Don’t Know)).

American-Idol-Logo[2]

caleb_download

Caleb Johnson won American Idol this season and if you were watching our “tweets” on Twitter, you would have know he was our favorite because we LOVE Rock and Roll! When Caleb sang with KISS, it was like he was part of the band and a seasoned veteran. WTG >>>CALEB!  Because we started following American Idol way back when it first started we still are half-baked fans and watch the show when it gets down to the Top 5 and if a Idol show interferes with The Voice, we watch the Voice like we did this season when Idols final performance show was on the same time The Voice final show was on. (The Idol producers did a “DUH” on this show schedule).

meryl_download

The last biggie that is a winner is Meryl Davis on Dancing with the Stars and as we all know (Or at least most of us) know that Meryl was the partner of Charlie at the Winter Olympics is the Ice Dancing category and they WON GOLD!  Yes folks GOLD!  MERYL>>>>>>>>WTG TWICE !!!!

We don’t follow Dancing With the Stars mainly because it’s on the same time as The Voice and even if it wasn’t we watched it when it first started and never watched again.  However it is highly rated and Meryl’s win needs to be mentioned.  She is a very special and having a great year.

peeps

Finally here are the results from the heated “Meet the Peeps” Contest that concluded last week and because there are so many categories you need to follow this link for viewing <<<<  MEET THE PEEPS >>>>>

We have NOTHING else to report except to mention that America’s Got Talent starts soon and we are going to be there!  We are also going to check out So You Think You Can Dance starting soon also our one time favorite a very long time ago.

The Voice — Season 2014 Night #2

VioceWell folks, what can we say but “WOW!  That was one great show last night!”.  Once again the best voice reality show on the airways / fiber optic lines starts a new season with some of the greatest talent (and judges we might add) in the universe.  Every show is a concert in progress and we are enjoying every moment.

Looks like Shakira and Usher are out for a win this year, and Adam already has some great team members.  Don’t count out Blake, he will sneak right in also and as usual the judge antics, are always a perk to watching.

Last night there was one fellow that we were surprised that no chairs turned.  He was the one that sang “Blurred Lines” and that is one of my favorite songs and he sang it really great, but did not get any chair turns.  The judges said that his dancing may have interfered with the vocals, but that did not come across on our end.  It would be cool if The Voice producers would bring that guy back and give him another chance.  We think that guy could be a winner this year, even though the last singer last night was awesome.

We have nothing else to add right now except that we are looking forward to night #2 and another concert.  We hope all the car poolers are back this year and enjoying each show as much as us.   It was kind of weird using a tablet to post last night because it’s so different than a full laptop, however, it all takes getting used to.

Oh and a quick shout-out to all visitors that this is a No smoking post.  Please extinguish whatever your puffing on and enjoy a clean air and healthy environment.

The Voice 2013 — 1st Live Performances

VioceWell folks, we had our first experience with the lame technology used on The Voice.  They were promoting the “last minute save via Twitter” all through the show, but when it came time to save one of the bottom three contestants, because we are on the west coast and tape delayed, we could not vote / tweet our save.  So basically the person saved at the last minutes was based on East Coast / Midwest time zones, not a country wide vote.  Normally we would go on and on about how great The Voice is, but it has lost something now that the west coast is not a participant, just a viewer.

Hope you all enjoyed last night and Monday’s shows.

We have nothing else to report except top say we really liked Cee-Lo’s shades last night.  We called them “Gordie” Shades.  (Trekkie fans will understand)

The Voice — Knock Out rounds after the Battle Rounds

VioceWell folks, what can we say?  Another GREAT night of The Voice and now we are doing the knockouts getting ready for the “LIVE” Shows.  We have yet to see Preston again, but we shall be patient.

We had a new idea for Cee-Lo, instead of the tattoo he initially had on his noggin that was just one color, he should try a multi-color like red, yellow, green, etc.  Or he should paste an ad for say Pepsi and make some extra cash to pay for the tattoo and maybe donate some to a good cause.

So to all of you out there in cyberland we will once again be watching tonight and we are sending a shout out to Brandon and his cousin who kindly visited our site this past weekend>>>>Hey Cous, howdy!

We have nothing else to report right at this moment except to say “get the flu shot if you haven’t already.”
