Belief System – Anxiety Continued

We belief that anxiety in general is a product of expectation and anticipation both of these take you out of the present moment.  These are both usually something coming up in the future like an appointment and you are expecting some sort of outcome.  Looking forward is ok but expecting an outcome to something specific in the future is you giving energy to an illusion.  The minute you leave the moment you are venturing into an illusion.  We make it a point to expect nothing, that way if you get a surprise then it’s a “fell good” and if no surprise then you continue on without expending any energy.  This is something we are still learning and we have found that meditation is a great way to get back to the moment.  For us balancing our nine Chakras each week is our solution whether we need it our not.

We say “in general” because we are not taking about Panic Anxiety Attacks.  This is a whole different “ball game”.   Even though we experienced this for about 10 years, we “never” did figure out what brought the attack on.  They would come out of nowhere and about the only thing we did figure out was they lasted 20 minutes every time.  Well, let us eliminate the “never” word because we did find that if we were driving we found that if we turned on the A/C full blast it terminated our attack most of the time.  Maybe it was the shock of cold air?  We looked around for an A/C that we could carry around with us at all the time, but there are none to be found. 🙂 Then there were the phobia’s we created.  If we just drank a cold soda and we had an attack, we stopped drinking cold sodas.  If we were in a club meeting friends, playing Tetris, etc. and then one day we came across the “Many Lives, Many Masters” book and we changed our lives by reading that book.  If you are experiencing Panic Anxiety Attaching we strongly suggest finding a doctor as soon as possible.  You are the one that will cure yourself, but the doctor will guide you to that solution with or without medication.  Be sure to discuss meditation also.  We could go on and on about our experience but we will save it for a later time.  Besides, it’s in the past “in a land far-far away”.

Isn’t it interesting how Star Wars is a part of our culture now?  When the first one came out we stood in line for an hour waiting to see it at the theater at River Oaks Mall.  When the movie was over, we exited and got in line again to see it a second time.  We knew this movie was the start of something awesome.  Then there was “Jaws”.  We saw this movie in downtown Chicago at the “Chicago” Theater and we sat in the balcony.  The opening scene with the girl swimming by alone with the buoy swinging back and forth in the waves, with the music caused murmurs throughout the theater.  It sure got our attention and we swore that is we ever learned how to swim; we would never swim in the ocean.  That was another great movie, but we only watched it once in the theater.  We have watched the video many times. Since all of a sudden we are on a roll talking about movies we must mention “Top Gun”. My son watched the video so many times he wore it out and we had to buy another video.  We also made it a point to go to the Miramar Air Show that year to see the F-14’s in action and they did a simulation of the Top Gun scenes.  Miramar is no longer a Navy base, but back then it was.  We used to hang out at Black’s Beach north of San Diego because when the jets took off from Miramar they sometimes would head out to the ocean and just when they we over water, kick on their after-burners.  Our all time favorite movie is “The Matrix”, the first one. This was to us a spiritual experience when you look deep into the premise.  We can watch the last 20 minutes over and over.  J

So back to the anxiety if doing this post LOLOL 🙂  Breath, breath, and one more big breath to get back to the moment.  Okay, we also like Pulp Fiction, Done!  Like we said in our last post anxiety is sneaky and we make it a point to stay in the moment because that is the only reality.  This spiritual stuff does take work and we can only hope you are enjoying taking this ride with us as we continue our journey.

We rarely get emails but after the last post we got a few asking us to talk about “Sexual Anxiety”.  Because we keep our site “G Rated, and this subject can have so many exceptions, we will attempt to keep our belief text short.

The following text is in the “Klingon” language because of the sensitive nature of the subject matter.  We don’t want some wayward children reading the text unless their parents agree.  Yes, they can convert it, but that takes thought and hopefully they are in a big hurry and will skip on past.

Belief System – Anxiety Feeling

Hope all of you enjoyed the Memorial Day Weekend.  For some reason we felt anxious this morning and then we noticed the feeling of anxiety, which is to us is one of the sneaky feelings we get.  Anxiety could be a result of fear or it can be a result of an upcoming happy event like looking forward to going on vacation.  Ether way, it takes us out of being in the moment because we start attempting to figure out why we feel like this.  In today’s case we believe its The Universes was of telling us this should be our next post and so here we are and we no longer feel anxious. (Thanks Universe).

We discussed our Panic / Anxiety Attacks in previous posts so if you are having these attacks we strongly suggest you call your primary care doctor and discuss this or if you don’t have a primary care doctor, call your local hospital and get a referral (This is what we did).

If you fear going to the dentist because you just know that you have 20 cavities and that he is going to lecture you on your tooth care.  Then when he gets you in the chair and straps you down and tells you’re to open your mouth, wider, and inserts those rubber inserts that keep your mouth open you know that he is going to whip out that 3 inch drill and drill down through your tooth into your jaw.  So that’s your story.   Our story is we only go to dentists that administer gas or back in the days of Indiana we went to a dentist that gave us Valium. Te down side to Valium was we needed to take a driver but the upside was once we were in the chair the dentist could have pulled all our teeth and we would not have cared.  So with the fear comes anxiety the closer your appointment gets.  When you go tell the doctor about your fear, we are sure he will understand and want to make you comfortable.  We have seen local commercials from dentists stating that if you afraid they will use gas or whatever makes you feel better.

Then there is the “Dentist from Dental Hell” whom we had when we were in high school and he was our braces dentist.  He would come in smelling like he had just smoked a pack of cigarettes, in a grumpy mood, and we knew that if we moved in the chair he would tap us with that little rubber hammer.  Yes, a tap right on our third eye area of our forehead.  We prayed every night that our teeth would get straight faster than humanly possible.  (We survived)

Of course if you’re a smoker you are in a constant state of anxiety.  Do you have enough cigarettes to last until tomorrow?  Does the restaurant have a smoking area?  It cigarettes cost much more we won’t be able to afford them. Every place they go they plan ahead based on smoking.  They are also constantly thinking about quitting but putting it off until a later date.  Will the next cigarette be the one to cause cancer?  This is called addiction.  Please ask your doctor for help to quit. Your grand-children will thank you later in life.

Yes anxiety is a sneaky and if you’re impatient, then you know how it slithers into your head.  That White Rabbit in Alice and Wonderland was anxious, so if you can relate to that rabbit, then you’re impatient and not living in the moment.  (Meditate or catch the rabbit, the exercise will be good)

Anxieties change and the years roll by.  If we were forced to say what our current fear is we would say getting into one of those driver-less cars.  We identify those cars and as soon as you enter the car you become a “Lab Test Rat”.  Read the news?  Tesla cars are constantly crashing when in “auto-mode”.  After being software developer for fifty years we know that they can not possible write software for every possible scenario and we don’t want to be riding in one of those “death traps” when that scenario comes in to play.  So our solution is, “If a human isn’t driving we are not riding”.  Not even if they offer Valium.

There are so many possibilities of that sneaky anxiety sneaking in that when we notice that we are not in the moment, we do a meditation.  Like right now we are listening to this <Meditation in progress>  and if you like Tibetan Bells then click on the link.

Because we make sure to keep our Chakra’s in balance we know that if we are “off” we stop and identify what it is causing this and 99% of the time its anxiety that got in though our spiritual armor.

We thank you for stopping by and reading this post. Now that we saved you tons of money you are spending on Valium, Baclofen, Xanax, Metaxalone, FlexePax, and a zillion other medicationss, please donate the money to St. Jude’s Hospital in Memphis TN.

We have NOTHING else to add now that we are back in the moment and hopefully we have helped or reminded you that The Universe cares and Loves all of you.  Many Blessings my friends and enjoy every moment because we are experiencing it together.  (Did you notice that “nothing” is in caps?)

Belief System / Spiritual Tools / Books

Our journey has been interesting and exciting.  Initially we met many people at the Lighthouse Book Store in Crown Point, Indiana because we attended a Friday night meeting of people with various expertises.  Heather ran the book store and she led the meeting.   We had a Reiki Master, Inter-dimensional expert, a séance person, several meditation folks, and Heather had several interests.  About twenty people turned up each night and we had a great time learning each-others interests.  We did circle healing, Native American Drum sessions, and one night we did a séance that just about blew my mind. We were a bit cynical about the séance, but once we got going we attracted a ship captain who came through in the person next to me and he was looking for the light for many years after his ship sank in Lake Michigan.  We sent him back to the light.  Then an overwhelming smell of roses came over us, and it was the Virgin Mary.  She came to bless all of us and moved on.  We don’t remember any other visitors, but we sure do remember the experience.

Over a the years we met Tarot Card Readers, meditated in a Dolphin Tank, had several physic readings, dabbled in Astrology and still do, had several Reiki Healing sessions, and another memorable tool was we did a Past Lives Regression.  A lady from England was writing a book on Past Lives and she asked me to participate because we had a NDE (Near Death Experience).  The way it’s done is she guided me in a mediation where we started in this life and went back year by year and if we got to a year where something caught my attention, we described what it was.  She said “imagine a rope with knots in it hanging down and as we progress back to our birth the knots untie until we get to the bottom.  The year of our NDE did get our attention and we describe it to her and then progressed down to our 11th year where we almost passed when we got stuck in quicksand.  A man came out of nowhere and pulled us out.  Then when go to being in the womb we had to get into a deep meditation to break out to our first passed life. She said it was normal and to take our time.  Then all of a sudden we passed though a really bright light and there we were in 1940 flying a British Spitfire and dog fighting with German ME-109’s.  We shot one down and then we took several hits.  Our plane burst into flames and dived straight down towards the ground.  We were stuck in the cockpit and went down with our plane and crashed.  We then continued on to our prior pasted life and it was a few thousand years ago and we were working in a stone quarry cutting slabs of rock for the Pharos’s pyramid.  It was hot and dry and someone yelled for us to move, but we did not move in time.  A large boulder had broken loose and fell on us right where we stood.  We then moved on to another prior life and it was many thousands of years ago.  We were in a village located in a beautiful land trees and farms.  It was where the Gobi Desert is now, but back then it was fertile. We were riding on a wagon being pulled by horses and there seemed to be a gathering of the people who lived there around us.  We then woke up from the meditation and we were done.  We did end up in the book, but do not remember the book, but we sure remembers the experience.

We dabble in Astrology, only to the point of understating that we use Astrology for getting to know ourselves and others so when interacting with them we stay within their likes and dislikes.  Have you done your chart?  There are several free sights on line and all you do is enter where you were born, the time zone, and your birth time and day.  Usually you get a chart with your Sun, Moon, and Rising/Ascendant signs.  You also get a description of your traits and we suggest you read it. We were amazed how “right on” it was.  Our Sun is Cancer, Moon is Pisces, and Rising is Cancer.  Yes all water signs.  We used to hang out in a Astrology chat room on AOL and the joke was we could only stay if we wore a life vest.  When we meet someone new we make a point of looking up there chart.  It reveals a good perspective of what their likes and dislikes are.  Run a chart on your friend and see what it tells you.  Have fun folks, its all about growth and fun.

Of course reading spiritual books and attending lectures is a great was to learn.  And once again we say, when reading a book only remember what feels “right”.  Forget the rest and move on.

Our Starting Book list:

Mahatma I & II “The I AM Presence” by Brian Grattan.  Published in 1994

This book had the most importance to us and is loaded with notes, page markers, and highlighted lines of text. This book has everything we talk about in it.  It has some great meditations and explanations of “how to clear” and other tools.  We still refer to his book, but we know the energies have changed since it was published so we modify it to what we like.  We highly recommended it as a “must” read.

“Many Lives, Many Masters”, by Brian L. Weiss, M.D.  Published 1998.

Another book that once we read it we moved from medication to meditation for Panic Anxiety Attacks.  We had Panic Anxiety for ten years and we were treaded with several meditations.  We met a doctor in Indiana that treated us with mild medication and when we found this book, we eventually eliminated the medications.  The book is If you are going through Panic Anxiety, we recommend reading this book.

“Life and Teachings of the Masters of the Far East”, by Baird T. Spaulding Volume 1-6 Published in 1964 we found it in 1996

Here is another book(s) that got our interest in far-east belief systems.  A visit with the Great Masters of the Himalayas for three years and it covers enlightenment, higher consciousness, and all sorts of awesome details about spiritual growth.  (We are reading it again).

We have many more to report, but for now these three are the most important for a great start.

We have nothing else to add at this time.  We thank you for your support and hope you have a great read. God bless all and Namaste.
