Belief System – Anxiety Feeling

Hope all of you enjoyed the Memorial Day Weekend.  For some reason we felt anxious this morning and then we noticed the feeling of anxiety, which is to us is one of the sneaky feelings we get.  Anxiety could be a result of fear or it can be a result of an upcoming happy event like looking forward to going on vacation.  Ether way, it takes us out of being in the moment because we start attempting to figure out why we feel like this.  In today’s case we believe its The Universes was of telling us this should be our next post and so here we are and we no longer feel anxious. (Thanks Universe).

We discussed our Panic / Anxiety Attacks in previous posts so if you are having these attacks we strongly suggest you call your primary care doctor and discuss this or if you don’t have a primary care doctor, call your local hospital and get a referral (This is what we did).

If you fear going to the dentist because you just know that you have 20 cavities and that he is going to lecture you on your tooth care.  Then when he gets you in the chair and straps you down and tells you’re to open your mouth, wider, and inserts those rubber inserts that keep your mouth open you know that he is going to whip out that 3 inch drill and drill down through your tooth into your jaw.  So that’s your story.   Our story is we only go to dentists that administer gas or back in the days of Indiana we went to a dentist that gave us Valium. Te down side to Valium was we needed to take a driver but the upside was once we were in the chair the dentist could have pulled all our teeth and we would not have cared.  So with the fear comes anxiety the closer your appointment gets.  When you go tell the doctor about your fear, we are sure he will understand and want to make you comfortable.  We have seen local commercials from dentists stating that if you afraid they will use gas or whatever makes you feel better.

Then there is the “Dentist from Dental Hell” whom we had when we were in high school and he was our braces dentist.  He would come in smelling like he had just smoked a pack of cigarettes, in a grumpy mood, and we knew that if we moved in the chair he would tap us with that little rubber hammer.  Yes, a tap right on our third eye area of our forehead.  We prayed every night that our teeth would get straight faster than humanly possible.  (We survived)

Of course if you’re a smoker you are in a constant state of anxiety.  Do you have enough cigarettes to last until tomorrow?  Does the restaurant have a smoking area?  It cigarettes cost much more we won’t be able to afford them. Every place they go they plan ahead based on smoking.  They are also constantly thinking about quitting but putting it off until a later date.  Will the next cigarette be the one to cause cancer?  This is called addiction.  Please ask your doctor for help to quit. Your grand-children will thank you later in life.

Yes anxiety is a sneaky and if you’re impatient, then you know how it slithers into your head.  That White Rabbit in Alice and Wonderland was anxious, so if you can relate to that rabbit, then you’re impatient and not living in the moment.  (Meditate or catch the rabbit, the exercise will be good)

Anxieties change and the years roll by.  If we were forced to say what our current fear is we would say getting into one of those driver-less cars.  We identify those cars and as soon as you enter the car you become a “Lab Test Rat”.  Read the news?  Tesla cars are constantly crashing when in “auto-mode”.  After being software developer for fifty years we know that they can not possible write software for every possible scenario and we don’t want to be riding in one of those “death traps” when that scenario comes in to play.  So our solution is, “If a human isn’t driving we are not riding”.  Not even if they offer Valium.

There are so many possibilities of that sneaky anxiety sneaking in that when we notice that we are not in the moment, we do a meditation.  Like right now we are listening to this <Meditation in progress>  and if you like Tibetan Bells then click on the link.

Because we make sure to keep our Chakra’s in balance we know that if we are “off” we stop and identify what it is causing this and 99% of the time its anxiety that got in though our spiritual armor.

Belief System – A Celebration of a Miracle

We invite all of you to join us in a victory over depression by my niece Stella (Fake Name).  She has brought joy to our soul and we consider her our spiritual mentor so rejoice might be a better word.  This is a great example of someone not settling for medication and working with her doctor figuring out the cause and the cure AND she bravely documented her journey on Facebook.  Yes bravely, because it sometimes takes guts to admit depression, which seems common these days and we can say we have had depression/ anxiety issues over the years.  Stella chose to document her journey on Facebook and because she has a huge following, her message will resonate throughout the Universe.  Stella has written a testimonial and sent me a copy.

 Stella Testimonial:

Every day I wake up and can’t believe how great I feel!  Within the first month of working with Dr. A my life-log, debilitating “depression” was cured.  Through labs she uncovered what my doctors never even looked for, but tried to medicate anyway.  It was not depression at all, but gut imbalances and food sensitivities that caused symptoms of depression and anxiety.

We are celebrating Stella’s miracle and our soul has been singing joyfully since we hear the news yesterday.  Just prior we went over to Facebook to see what’s up.  We rarely go there, but it’s a good way to see what’s going on with our family spread all over this country.  I noticed that Stella’s wording to her posts had changed to a happy font(?).  We could feel her energy was amazing and thought maybe we should give Stella’s Mom a call.  We did and that is where we received the great news.  Our soul is singing happy songs, yes in Classic Rock like this one “Life’s been Good by Joe Walsh”

See folks, when you set your mind to something and you just “know” you will complete your quest, it happens.  There are no limits to creativity and it’s all in The Universe for you to find and ask for.  Just a simple intent asking for what you require.  Just be clear when you ask and the more details the better chance because The Universe likes details.

Example:  I would sure like to win the lotto.< (vague) I would sure like to win the Jackpot of the Mega Million Lottery next week. <(Detail)  (remember where you got the tip when you win 🙂  )

When we ask for our meditation / healing center we include a full floor plan, a location, the functional details of each of the healing types, how we plan to hire homeless folks and provide food and housing, how we plan to have a dedicated staff for treating “bullying” for all and how we plan to treat all for no charge, only donations. Some of the detail keeps changing so we continue to update our intent.  Our temporary location is here posting and we plan to include some videos on You Tube in the near future.

Meditation – Week 2 – My Experience Continued

We had a great response to week one, and the most asked questions was “Why meditate?”  So because we can only give you our perspective and our experience, we are going to include each week a part of the history of our journey, which includes other teachings, but the common thread is meditation.

A long, long, time ago in a land far, far away was a book store named The Lighthouse located in Crown Point, Indiana. The owners name was Heather Harder and on Friday nights after hours Heather opened the store to a group of folks interested in metaphysical discussions and demonstrations.  We remember this because of two bits of advice from Heater that we alway follow to this day and they are , “#1 No matter what metaphysical path you  choose to follow, always have fun with it.” and “#2 When you start gathering information from books, people, etc. take what you feel is good for you and disregard all the other stuff”.  The Friday night meeting was where my interest in meditation began, and having the opportunity to investigate Native American Drum sessions,  Circle Healing, Inter-dimensional Travel, Reiki Healing, Astrology (A current hobby), Astral Travel, and several other forms of metaphysical practices was awesome.

From then on we collected all kinds of various types of meditations mainly from reading.  We started to practice meditation mainly for relaxation but also to grow spiritually. We used meditation to clear negative energies, and when removing the negative energy fill up with positive energy. I can’t think of a better way to get rid of “stress”, mainly because we believe the person who brings on the stress can get rid of the stress easy.

When the panic anxiety attaches started instead of embracing the opportunity to get past it, we fought it in every-way we could think of finally settling on medication. We dumped the stuff we had learned and fought it for several years and then only day “out of the blue’ we started reading a book named “Many Lives, Many Masters.” by Brian L. Weiss M.D.  Looking back from today we know this book was sent to wake us up to continue our path and it did because we started meditation again and after a few years we were completely off the medication.

One point we want to make is the main use of meditation is to get to a point where you mind is clear of all thoughts.  Enjoy it and choose to take this clearing to every moment of your everyday life.  Why?  Because if you are clear and something comes your way that you are looking for you will see it without all the daily noise zipping through your noggin.

Meditation – My Healing Experience

I have been meditating for over forty years and in the beginning it was fairly simple straightforward visualization sometimes to music or focus on an object.  Since then meditation has grown in acceptance and the availability to various types of meditation has also grown.  These days I have found that the best variety of meditation videos are on YouTube.com I subscribe to meditative Mind because their videos are unique and combine frequency, music, and color.  I believe that the frequency (Hz) is important because it gets down to the DNA Level of healing.  Before sound it more up to the person to visualize the movement of energy down to the DNA level.

Because we are a Reiki Level II Practitioner we found YouTube.com has some great Reiki Chakra clearing videos which include detail descriptions of each of the Chakra’s as the video plays.  We meditate on the chakra’s fifty percent of the time mainly because we have the experience of self-healing a five years ago when a question came up as to whether we would need Chemotherapy or not. I add two CT Scans and they saw nodules in my lungs small at first and then a little larger on the second scan. So they decided to wait three months and take another scan to decide the direction we need to go.  My doctor explained that after smoking for 50+ years this was common and that we should probably do some research on Chemo because he was leaning toward that as the result, not guaranteed, but strong possibility.  Form that day forward we did a Reiki meditation and prayed every night (3 months) until the day of the scan. I had the CT scan and the very next day my doctor called and I had to sit down to answer the call. I pick up the phone and the first this I heard was my doctor saying “You can fire me! You don’t need me anymore!”. I said “What!?” and he said “The nodules are all so small and some are gone since the last scan”.  He admitted that he was complete surprised but added that I had a 2% chance of this being the outcome.  After we finished dancing around our chair in total joy we now go for a check up every year and the results remain the same to this day.

Another instance was back in the late 80’s to the mid 90’s we had a several case of Panic Anxiety and were put on strong medication and we made up our minds that is was not going to be the norm for us and eventually we because medication free and we believe it was because we meditated every day for the last three years.

One other use of mindfulness meditation is on my post about quitting smoking. We use the meditation to get past the urges to smoke a cigarette and every time after that when the same situation came up the urge was gone.

We would strongly suggest learning Mindfulness Meditation  and we did at the Insight Meditation Center in Redwood City, CA. They teach based on Buddhism and it applies to mind, physical, and spiritual is every day use. They also have all their teachings in audio on their website at no charge.  Here is the link “Insight Meditation Center” the go to Audio Dhama.  There are some hospitals around the country that have Mindfulness Meditation courses available for a fee and Google has a free an on-line course and they actually have a Mindfulness Guru on staff (I want this job).
