Magical Rainbow Lyft Ride

We have mentioned before that before we book a Lyft or Uber ride we ask the Universe for a driver that we need to meet, even though  we like meeting them all.  So yesterday after a great Lyft ride with Davy to Menlo Park CA for a doctor appointment which was great news, we asked the Universe for a amazing return return Lyft ride.  Normally when we hit to button we get a Lyft ride quickly but this time there was a hesitation.  We thought “Interesting, this is going to amazing ride.  It’s really searching for the ride.”  Then the message “Your Lyft driver will be here in 9 minutes.”.  Again, interesting because most rides in Menlo are 2 to 3 minutes away.  “Your diver is Karen in a Toyota Corolla.”  So we waited, not with anticipation but with a bit of excitement.

Sure enough up pulls Karen and we start chatting like we have know each other forever,  Turns out she is one of the original Lyft drivers from when Lyft launched in the Bay area six years ago.  Now she is driving part time on and off.  As we drove along chatting up a storm the route goes from Menlo Park to the Dumbarton Bridge to cross the San Francisco Bay at the south end.

As we turned on Marsh Road toward the bridge we both noticed full rainbows to our left over San Francisco and in front of us over the East bay.  The rainbow in front of us was dim at first but as we drove toward it and was growing more defined as we neared.  It was a “wow” moment and the rainbow remained all the way across the bridge and it was like we drove into it.  Karen said “There were rainbows around when my son was born and on his first birthday.”  As we drove along we mentioned our blog site and that we wrote about a NDE we had when we were younger and to our amazement Karen shared the fact that she also had a NDE (Near death experience) when she was in a car accident.  She said she was hovering above the accident watching everything that was going on.  She saw her friend that was with her pick up a child and run down the road.  Then she heard a really load screaming and it turned out to be her pinned under the car and she thought “Do I want to return to this noise?” When she returned she told her friend all about it.  (Note: Karen I hope we got tis right).  Now we were sharing that moment in a rainbow moment.  We love how meeting people and sharing has become our standard operating procedure (SOP). The rainbows remained all the war to my stop.

So folks, even though we don’t usually share our daily routine, but this was beyond amazing and it just goes to show if you don’t open up and share your experiences with the people around you, you might miss out in movements like this.  We will not forget this Lyft ride and any of you in the Bay are that get Karen for a Lyft ride you now have a topic of conversation.  Be sure to tell her you saw the story here!

We wish to thank the Universe for that great ride and to thank all of you for supporting our site.  Our blessing go out to all.

We have nothing else to add right now except to “Live peacefully and share the love.”
