Belief System / Spiritual Tools / Books

Our journey has been interesting and exciting.  Initially we met many people at the Lighthouse Book Store in Crown Point, Indiana because we attended a Friday night meeting of people with various expertises.  Heather ran the book store and she led the meeting.   We had a Reiki Master, Inter-dimensional expert, a séance person, several meditation folks, and Heather had several interests.  About twenty people turned up each night and we had a great time learning each-others interests.  We did circle healing, Native American Drum sessions, and one night we did a séance that just about blew my mind. We were a bit cynical about the séance, but once we got going we attracted a ship captain who came through in the person next to me and he was looking for the light for many years after his ship sank in Lake Michigan.  We sent him back to the light.  Then an overwhelming smell of roses came over us, and it was the Virgin Mary.  She came to bless all of us and moved on.  We don’t remember any other visitors, but we sure do remember the experience.

Over a the years we met Tarot Card Readers, meditated in a Dolphin Tank, had several physic readings, dabbled in Astrology and still do, had several Reiki Healing sessions, and another memorable tool was we did a Past Lives Regression.  A lady from England was writing a book on Past Lives and she asked me to participate because we had a NDE (Near Death Experience).  The way it’s done is she guided me in a mediation where we started in this life and went back year by year and if we got to a year where something caught my attention, we described what it was.  She said “imagine a rope with knots in it hanging down and as we progress back to our birth the knots untie until we get to the bottom.  The year of our NDE did get our attention and we describe it to her and then progressed down to our 11th year where we almost passed when we got stuck in quicksand.  A man came out of nowhere and pulled us out.  Then when go to being in the womb we had to get into a deep meditation to break out to our first passed life. She said it was normal and to take our time.  Then all of a sudden we passed though a really bright light and there we were in 1940 flying a British Spitfire and dog fighting with German ME-109’s.  We shot one down and then we took several hits.  Our plane burst into flames and dived straight down towards the ground.  We were stuck in the cockpit and went down with our plane and crashed.  We then continued on to our prior pasted life and it was a few thousand years ago and we were working in a stone quarry cutting slabs of rock for the Pharos’s pyramid.  It was hot and dry and someone yelled for us to move, but we did not move in time.  A large boulder had broken loose and fell on us right where we stood.  We then moved on to another prior life and it was many thousands of years ago.  We were in a village located in a beautiful land trees and farms.  It was where the Gobi Desert is now, but back then it was fertile. We were riding on a wagon being pulled by horses and there seemed to be a gathering of the people who lived there around us.  We then woke up from the meditation and we were done.  We did end up in the book, but do not remember the book, but we sure remembers the experience.

We dabble in Astrology, only to the point of understating that we use Astrology for getting to know ourselves and others so when interacting with them we stay within their likes and dislikes.  Have you done your chart?  There are several free sights on line and all you do is enter where you were born, the time zone, and your birth time and day.  Usually you get a chart with your Sun, Moon, and Rising/Ascendant signs.  You also get a description of your traits and we suggest you read it. We were amazed how “right on” it was.  Our Sun is Cancer, Moon is Pisces, and Rising is Cancer.  Yes all water signs.  We used to hang out in a Astrology chat room on AOL and the joke was we could only stay if we wore a life vest.  When we meet someone new we make a point of looking up there chart.  It reveals a good perspective of what their likes and dislikes are.  Run a chart on your friend and see what it tells you.  Have fun folks, its all about growth and fun.

Of course reading spiritual books and attending lectures is a great was to learn.  And once again we say, when reading a book only remember what feels “right”.  Forget the rest and move on.

Our Starting Book list:

Mahatma I & II “The I AM Presence” by Brian Grattan.  Published in 1994

This book had the most importance to us and is loaded with notes, page markers, and highlighted lines of text. This book has everything we talk about in it.  It has some great meditations and explanations of “how to clear” and other tools.  We still refer to his book, but we know the energies have changed since it was published so we modify it to what we like.  We highly recommended it as a “must” read.

“Many Lives, Many Masters”, by Brian L. Weiss, M.D.  Published 1998.

Another book that once we read it we moved from medication to meditation for Panic Anxiety Attacks.  We had Panic Anxiety for ten years and we were treaded with several meditations.  We met a doctor in Indiana that treated us with mild medication and when we found this book, we eventually eliminated the medications.  The book is If you are going through Panic Anxiety, we recommend reading this book.

“Life and Teachings of the Masters of the Far East”, by Baird T. Spaulding Volume 1-6 Published in 1964 we found it in 1996

Here is another book(s) that got our interest in far-east belief systems.  A visit with the Great Masters of the Himalayas for three years and it covers enlightenment, higher consciousness, and all sorts of awesome details about spiritual growth.  (We are reading it again).

We have many more to report, but for now these three are the most important for a great start.

We have nothing else to add at this time.  We thank you for your support and hope you have a great read. God bless all and Namaste.
