So You Think You Can Dance Season 8 – Top 16 Results

Tonight’s judges were Nigel, Mary, and guest judges Lil “C” and Kristen Chenoweth

Based on the performances last night, the bottom three boys and bottom three girls will be “dancing for their life” for the judges.  The judges will then pick the one boy and one girl who will be going home tonight

The bottom three boys were Robert “Woo-man”, Chris, and Mitchell.

The bottom three girls were Miranda, Ashley, and Caitlynn.

Leaving tonight is Robert “Woo-man” and Miranda.

As we say to all the departing contestants, “To Robert and Miranda we send our congratulations for making the Top 16 and even though you are leaving tonight, let nothing stand in your way as you continue your journey to complete your dream”.

 Other highlights from tonight:

The Oakland based Axis Company performed and they did an outstanding rouitne.

The reining Ballroom Champions Eric Luna and Georgia Ambarian performed to The Pirate’s of the Caribbean and were awesome, amazing and just plain “crazy” great.

We have nothing else to report except to wonder why the “Dance for your Life” is suppose to be important in deciding whom goes home from the bottom vote getters, when tonight Miranda easily did the best solo of the three girls and was sent home.  Nigel said the decision was NOT unanimous, but did not give a reason, nor did they critique the other two girls.

We hope to see you all out there in Cyberland again next week when we do the Top 14.  Have a GREAT July 4th weekend.

Thank you very much for your support J
