The show opened with Ryan stating that the Top 10 would be chosen and then the judges would decide which contestants would be picked to “sing for their lives” to fill additional spots with a “wild card”.

Then the first 20 minutes was building up the drama for the picking of the top 10 to start and Ryan did a great job with it as he always does.

The top five guys picked were Scotty, Jacob, Casey, Paul, and James.   Note here that AAN judge Jojo picked ALL five guys at the end of the top 24 guy’s performance night.

The top five girls picked were Pia, Lauren A., Karen, Thia, and Haley.  Also note that Jojo picked three of the five girls at the end of last night.

Then the judges asked Ashthon, Kendra, Niama, Stefano, Jovany, and Robbie to sing for the wild card spots.   Picked were Sefano, Ashthon and Niama to make it a Top 13 for season 10.

So thats it and after all was said and done it ended up being a top 13.  Did America get it right?  We at AAN think that the guys group is really strong and as close as it can get.  The girls group only has one standout that has the American Idol talent and that would be Pia with Niama a close second.

We have nothing else to report at this time except to say to all the other contestants that did not make the top 13 “We send our congratulations for making the Top 24 and even though you are leaving tonight, let nothing stand in your way as you continue your journey to complete your dream”.
