American Idol Season 9 – Top 7 Results and “Idol Gives Back”

Tonight show is not only the results night, it is also a special show for “Idol Gives Back”, which is the non-profit part of American Idol.  Donations taken tonight will be donated too children in America and around the world.  “Save the Children”, “Children’s Health Fund“, and “Feeding America” are some of the organizations.

Donations will be taken by calling 1-877-436- 5243 or visit AmericaIdol.com and idolgivesback.com.

Corporate backing for “Idol Gives Back” comes from Exxon Mobil, Ford, Coca Cola, A. T. & T., iTunes, and News Corporation.  One of the non-profit partners is Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.  (Microsoft Rocks!)

The special appearance roster included Black Eyed Peas, George Lopez, Carrie Underwood, Alicia Keys (co-founder of “Keep a child alive”), Mary J Blige, Sir Elton John (Elton Johns Aids Foundation) and many more.

The bottom three contestants tonight were Casey James, Aaron Kelly, and Tim Urban.  Aaron was safe, leaving Tim and Casey.

Cut from the top 7 tonight was “Teflon” Tim.

As we say to all the departing contestants, “To Tim we send our congratulations for making the Top 7 and even though you are leaving tonight, “Let nothing stand in your way as you continue your journey to complete your dream”.

As a footnote during this telecast we were watching some “tweet” feeds and found that there are some people out there in cyber-land would rather moan and groan about what a bad world we live in and how boring American Idol is going to be tonight.  Too all the folks who were watching tonight, we at AAN wish to applaud and send you many blessings for taking the initiative to “Make a Difference” in the world we all live in together.

Finally we have nothing more to say except to ask all the folks out in cyber-land too not only “Make a Difference” tonight, let’s make a point to take this action everyday, by simply being kind to everyone we meet in everyday life. (A smile works great)
